Wine Tasting
Discover local wines produced from grapes grown in Cappadocia's volcanic soils. Vineyard tours and tasting sessions.
The Flavor of Volcanic Soils
Cappadocia's volcanic soils have been home to viticulture for over 4,000 years. The region's unique grape varieties, Emir (white) and Kalecik Karasi (red), develop distinctive aromas in soils enriched with volcanic minerals. In these lands where wine has been produced since the Hittite period, modern vineyards combine traditional methods with contemporary techniques.
