Hyacinth Church
The Hyacinth Church in Ihlara Valley takes its name from the hyacinth flowers around it and is one of the most accessible churches in the valley.
Flower Church
The Hyacinth Church is a small but atmospheric structure carved into the steep slopes of Ihlara Valley. The hyacinths that bloom around it in spring gave the church its name. The structure shows similarities with other small churches in the valley with its single-nave plan.
Although its frescoes are largely damaged, the remaining fragments display the characteristic painting style of Ihlara Valley. The church is one of the easily accessible points to visit during a valley walk.
